GreenPower Submits Broadmeadows Wind Farm Application to Scottish Borders Council

GreenPower, on the 23rd December 2004, submitted a planning application for Broadmeadows Wind Farm to Scottish Borders Council.

The project, as submitted, will consist of up to 13 wind turbines, each with a capacity of up to 3MW, with a maximum peak output of 36MW.

If built, the wind farm is projected to offset up to 104,000 tonnes of CO2 per year during its operation, and supply electricity equivalent to the annual demand of 24,000 average UK homes.
